Bargains & Surprises
The Charity Shop was the first fully operational part of EC30 having moved from its previous home in the little passageway next to Boots. It has become an increasingly popular hunting ground for bargain hunters. A steady stream of shoppers and donors ensure a rapid turnover of stock.
Manager, Diane Galvayne has spent many years honing her skills to sniff out true valuables and best sellers. The stock is always fresh and clean and artistically displayed which makes for an enticing and time-absorbing browsing session. Di says she loves her job, describing every day like Christmas Day as she never knows what will come through her door. She enjoys researching items of value to enable her to price things appropriately. Meeting and chatting with members of the public never loses its appeal with stories galore about how items came to be donated and why or for whom they are bought.
Browsers and bargain hunters and donors can be assured of a warm welcome. Stock changes regularly and there are often special themes, bargain boxes and promotions so do keep checking.
